HISTAMINE

Histamine – What is it? What is it responsible for? What role histamine has in our body?

HISTAMINE – is organic chemical compound which naturally occurs in human body, acting as a mediator of inflammatory processes, allergic reactions, as well as It is the neurotransmitter which accompanied us from the very first seconds of life.

Histamine is a hormone tissue generated from the amino-acid histidine. Its production occurs in many places. The highest concentration is observed in lungs, skin, nasal mucosa as well as the gastric mucosa.

It is stored in the form of basophils and mast cells (mast cells located in the tissue, especially around the blood vessels ,lymph vessels and nerves) where histamine can be released during the inflammatory response. Histamine is involved in allergic inflammation as a pro-inflammatory mediator. The central role of allergic reaction plays activation of receptor H1. Contact with the allergen, causing a stroke of histamine from certain human immune cells and strength of the intestinal mucous membrane irritation, nose, bronchi, lungs, skin tissue causing hives rash, diarrhea, hay fever, asthma and even anaphylactic shock in some people , for example as a results of bee stings or wasps. Histamine is responsible for the presence of following symptoms:

  • inhalation and cutaneous allergy
  • asthma
  • food allergy
  • chronic allergies
  • fatigue
  • headaches
  • drop in blood pressure

Too much histamine may lead to its intolerance and consequently serious health problems.

Histamine intolerance depends on the dose arising during the inflammatory reaction.

Allergy symptoms are quite quickly noticeable, while intolerance may be dismissed at a time until the histamine reaches a certain level.

One of the most important element, which I mentioned earlier on the blog is the state of our body, the intestines, the number of parasites and fungi, bacterial flora imbalance, allergies or food intolerances, poor diet or drugs excess (steroids, antibiotics, birth control pills, painkillers) nutrient deficiencies, celiac disease, gluten intolerance.

All of this contributes to the release of histamine, stress is also a cause.

Perhaps I will again be repeated, but everyone should listen to own heart beat, listen to own body and simply live not for the teeth to eat, eat in order to live.

Diet !!! Activity !!! No sweets ! Water !      You going to feel much better.

If you have a problem with histamine, for the moment I can recommend original health supplement from the USA – inhibitor of histamine – the enzyme responsible for the metabolism of histamine based on dae (diamine) – an enzyme that breaks down excess histamine mainly in the intestines .

In conclusion I would add that an important aspect of treatment is avoidance

  • ripened cheeses
  • wheat
  • chocolate
  • fish and seafood other than fresh
  • legumes
  • fermented products
  • preservatives
  • citrus, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, banana
  • tomatoes

Let us purify our body try to avoid the use of antihistamines. Let’s act comprehensively on our body and let take care about the good, diet antihistamine, natural supplementation, improved activity of the enzyme DAO.

In the next post I will write more about supplementation and about food which is rich in histamine.

Welcome you today , I would like to finish my post about histamine.

It often seems to us that this is an exaggeration , that much information. if we are healthy and of course we can eat whatever the hear desires.

I know exactly that kind of thinking , but I also experienced other because I can not eat as before.

It is something like humility to life, to the way of thinking. This humility showed me how the way of eating is important in life and how you can help yourself, family and friends to solve the health problems with knowledge about nutrition.

HISTAMINE – Is the mediator between good and evil. As long as everything works well, until the level of histamine is balanced, our body is working as it should, but if the level of histamine increases and becomes too high people experience conditions that closely resemble allergies what I wrote earlier.

Diamine oxidase (DAO) is an essential enzyme that breaks down in the body histamine.

When the level of histamine increased, DAO decomposes excess so that histamine is maintained at normal levels.

If the level of histamine is too high, it means that the body has too low DAO, or we gave ourselves too much food with too high content of histamine, which exceeds the ability of the enzyme to rapidly decompose its excess.

Let us remember, each of us has its own tolerance of histamine, which is determined by his or her ability DAO to maintain an acceptable level of histamine.

FOOD the richest in histamine:

  • Fermented food (cheese of all types), fermented dairy products (yogurt and buttermilk), fermented vegetables (sauerkraut)
  • processed meat
  • fermented beverages; beer and wine
  • tomatoes and cherries – produce histamine during ripening
  • citrus – grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes
  • vegetables – eggplant, avocado, spinach, olives
  • fish, shellfish
  • foods containing sulphites
  • dyes widely used in the confectionery industry
  • unbalanced and badly kept chilled meat
  • rich foods benzoate; star anise, cinnamon, nutmeg
  • berries; strawberries, raspberries, blueberries
  • tea – black, green (containing large levels of benzoate and in sensitive people can release histamine)

Remember that the histamine content changes in the products according to their maturity and storage conditions.

The blood test reveals the level of DAO, examines the concentration of histamine and vitamin B6 WHICH breaks down histamine

Let us remember – proper diet for each individual body is the most important.

Discipline in maintaining a proper diet is essential and guarantee that you will feel better. Keeping my fingers crossed for all who want to who want to improve their health and take this challenge!!
